![]() Model: ArtTech Coota Filename: coota.zip Author: Gary Gunnerson Email: garyg51384_at_aol.com HomePage: http://gunnerson.homestead.com/files/fms_models.htm Created: October 2007 Updated: August 2008 With help from another Coota owner (Thank you Dave), I received some excellent photos that helped create a much better 3-view for the 3D model and an awesome image map. The Metasequoia model looks great! Dave also worked with me to adjust the FMS 2.8 .par file for much closer flying characteristics to the actual model. The high motor mount of the Coota causes all kinds of issues with the wing incidence and motor thrust angles. Hopefully, we have captured the uniqueness of the Coota. Notes: October 2007 Very cool ArtTech Coota Amphibian R/C Seaplane. A nice design with wing tips used as floats and the pusher prop up and out of the way. The model will both ROG and ROW. This is the first cut at this model with a lo-res image map and a partially complete 3D model due to lack of detail available on the web to create a good 3-view and image map. Come back for updates. Model Specs are: Length: 680mm/26.8in Wingspan: 930mm/36.6in Flying weight: 450g/15.8 Oz Wing area :15.4dm² Wing loading:29/dm² Battery: 8.4V/1000mAh NiHe Battery Receiver: micro 6CH Transmitter: 4CH Motor: 80W brushless motor Speed controller: 20A brushless controller Download link: In order to download please ( Log In | Register )
